CVS Shopping trip 9/12/11

My CVS Shopping Trip 9/12/2011


Spent Total - $25.34
Total Saved - $169.54
Extra Buck Remaining - $10.00


This is not a normal CVS week for me. I had extra bucks to use from my dad's account and didn't want and extra bucks remaining (I can't scan his card I don't have it I use his phone number so no scanner coupons ). I had $1.99 ecbs to start .

The first transactions was a rain check item (not usual) for blink tears. Sale priced $7.99 get back $7.99 in ecbs.
When I was shopping I saw it had a $4 off coupon attached to it SCORE! 


So I bought that $7.99 (saved $4.30 - normal price  $12.29)
 Used the $4 off coupon and my $1.99 in ecbs
My total was $2.00 (for some reason no tax idk why)
Got back $8 ecb (Cashier gave me $8 instead of $7.99)
Says on receipt today you saved - $10.29
So the total O.O.P (out of pocket) is -  $2
Total Saved $10.29

Transaction #2

3 Air wick I-motion  $4.99 (saved $5.80)
2 Finish Power ball 20 count $2.99 (saved $3..30)
2 Summers eve wipes B1G1Free $2.69 (doesn't say I saved on the price only that I saved $2.69 on the free one)
Used 3 $4 off air wick coupons
2 $.65 off finish
1 $2 off 2 summer eve product printable
Also used $8 ecb from transaction 1
Subtotal $0.34
Tax $0.94
Total $1.28
Got back $10ecb for buying $20 in household products.
Says on receipt today you saved - $49.99
So the total O.O.P (out of pocket) is -  $3.28
Total Saved $60.28

Transaction 3  ( At another CVS that one had run out of too much stuff)
CVS Allergy Relief $3.69 (Saved $1.10)
Rephresh Tampons 18ct $6.79 (saved $0.60)
Tylenol Precise patch's (also a rain check for $5.99 get $2ecb) $5.99 (saved $2.40)

Used $5. off Tylenol Precise 
Total $11.47 (no tax)
Got back a $3.69 ecb for allergy
a $6.79 ecb for tampons
and a $2 ecb for Tylenol

Says on receipt today you saved - $9.10

So the total O.O.P (out of pocket) is -  $14.75
Total Saved $69.38


Transaction # 4 

2 Puffs @ $1.50 (saved 0.87)
1 Charmin Ultra Strong 16 rolls $9.99 (saved $6.30)
1 Bounty paper towels 12ct $12.99 (saved$3.00)

Used $1 off Bounty paper towels
Used $10ecb from transaction 2
Used $6.79, $3.69 and $2. ecb transaction 3
Subtotal $2.50
Tax - $1.44
Total $3.94
Got back $10 ecb for spending $25 on P&G products
Says on receipt today you saved - $34.52

So the total O.O.P (out of pocket) is -  $18.69

2 Herbal Essence @ 2.99 (saved $1.40)
2 Garner Fructis @ $2.99 (saved $1)
1 sweet tarts $0.50

Used 2 $1 off Garner Fructis
 $1 off 2 herbal essence
 Used $10 off ecb from transaction 4
And here I messed up my math had to be wrong they adjusted the ecb down to $9.46 I should have gotten another sweet tart of the dawn soap on sale for $.99 but oh well

Tax - 0.75
Total $0.75
Got back $2 ecb
Says on receipt today you saved - $17.95

So the total O.O.P (out of pocket) is -  $19.44
Total Saved $121.85
Transaction #6 because I wanted to use all my extra bucks from my dad's account

2 Summers Eve Wash $4.49 ( Saved $4.49 because it's B1G1Free)

Used $2 off 2 Summers eve
And $2 ecb from transaction 5
Subtotal - 0.49
Tax - 0.27
Total $0.76
Got back NO ECBS
Says on receipt today you saved - $8.49

So the total O.O.P (out of pocket) is -  $20.20
Total Saved $130.34

So now I can go back to only using my card. If you have only CVS card you must stop here. The household ecb deal is one per card. 

 I bought 4 Air wick I-motion $4.99 (Saved $5.80)

Used 4 $4off air wick
Subtotal - $3.96
Tax - $1.20
Total - $5.16
Even though on my receipt it say I'm 0.04 away from earning $10 ecb it still printed out : )
Says on receipt today you saved - $39.20

So the total O.O.P (out of pocket) is -  $25.36
Total Saved $169.54
I think that's a savings of 85% (please correct me if I'm wrong)
