This is not a normal CVS week for me. I had extra bucks to use from my dad's account and didn't want and extra bucks remaining (I can't scan his card I don't have it I use his phone number so no scanner coupons ). I had $1.99 ecbs to start .

The first transactions was a rain check item (not usual) for blink tears. Sale priced $7.99 get back $7.99 in ecbs.

When I was shopping I saw it had a $4 off coupon attached to it SCORE! 

 

So I bought that $7.99 (saved $4.30 - normal price  $12.29)

 Used the $4 off coupon and my $1.99 in ecbs

My total was $2.00 (for some reason no tax idk why)

Got back $8 ecb (Cashier gave me $8 instead of $7.99)

Says on receipt today you saved - $10.29

So the total O.O.P (out of pocket) is -  $2

Total Saved $10.29

And here I messed up my math had to be wrong they adjusted the ecb down to $9.46 I should have gotten another sweet tart of the dawn soap on sale for $.99 but oh well

So the total O.O.P (out of pocket) is -  $19.44

Total Saved $121.85

Transaction #6 because I wanted to use all my extra bucks from my dad's account

And $2 ecb from transaction 5

Got back NO ECBS

So the total O.O.P (out of pocket) is -  $20.20

Total Saved $130.34

So now I can go back to only using my card. If you have only CVS card you must stop here. The household ecb deal is one per card. 

 I bought 4 Air wick I-motion $4.99 (Saved $5.80)

Subtotal - $3.96

Tax - $1.20

Total - $5.16

Even though on my receipt it say I'm 0.04 away from earning $10 ecb it still printed out : )

Says on receipt today you saved - $39.20

So the total O.O.P (out of pocket) is -  $25.36

Total Saved $169.54

I think that's a savings of 85% (please correct me if I'm wrong)

Safeway 10/17 and Yankee Candle too

I saw my good friend at the store, always a great treat, and she was going to Yankee Candle. I decided to tag along and had to buy
4 Odor Eliminating Just plain fresh candles they were trail sized for .99 cents
paid $4.20 with tax.

I love Yankee candles, they smell so great, but they cost so much. This little candle has almost made my whole house smell Oh SO good.

After Yankee Candle I went to Starbucks with her and had a Carmel Frappes.  She had to run I could have talked to her all day but on to Safeway.
